To fly aeroplanes with two engines, such as our Piper Seminole, you must have an MEP (Land) class rating endorsed onto your license.
You must have a minimum of 70 hours pilot-in-command and to complete a course of training of at least 6 hours flying and 7 hours ground school. There will be a written exam and a skills test flight.
The training will include flying under normal conditions, asymmetric flight and emergency procedures and you will thoroughly learn the aircraft systems and principles of asymmetric flight.
The dual training rate on our PA44-180 is £320/hour – it is not available for solo hire.
