The North London Flying School at Panshanger Airfield
The flying school is conveniently located and easy to find so that you can focus on flying lessons and pilot training rather than exhausting yourself getting to and from the school.

Located at Panshanger Airfield, the flying school is based on an historic grass airfield situated just a 15 minutes drive time from north London just drive north on the A1M and take the A414 to Hertford and we are off the A414. For those of you that fly in we are located at 3.1 NM on the 331 Radial from BPK VOR (117.50)

Our radio frequency is 120.25 (Panshanger Radio) and is not always manned. However as we are PPR only you would be given the R/W and QNH on the phone. Please read the flight guide regarding the noise sensitive departure on R/W 29.

Flight Planning and Weather information
The Flying school club house can offer flight planning and up to date weather information to those of you that are flying in.

Our Blue Sky Cafe is open Tuesday trough Sunday from 10 AM until 3PM during the week and from 10AM to 5PM on the week end. During its opening time we wave off the landing fees for those of you that are stopping for lunch, as all meals are prepared on the premises from fresh ingredients and not frozen pre-packed meals that you slap into the microwave advanced booking is recommended please call 01707 395593.
