Panshanger Aerodrome is home to North London Flying School and Out of the Box café bar, situated 20 minutes drive time from North London in the heart of rural Hertfordshire, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We offer professional instruction to all levels of ability from trial lessons to structured CAA approved courses such as the PPL.

Out of the Box café bar offers a range of food, hot and cold drinks in a relaxed friendly environment where you can watch the aeroplanes take off and land as well as the ocassional aerobatics practice! We can cater for large groups of people for corporate away days to individual birthday experiences. Out of the Box is for members only and not open to the general public. We also offer a maintenance facility and offer our aeroplanes for self hire to enable qualified pilots to go on flying adventures to keep their hours up.

Out of the Box café & Sports Bar located on Panshanger Aerodrome, where you can relax outside and watch the planes take off and land. What we mean by that is that there is no need to keep up appearances, here we create an environment where you can just be yourself and have fun. We embrace passions for extreme sports such as aerobatics and other activities as we believe life needs to be lived to the full.
